Tri-Braze Dura-Plus is the next generation of alloyed abrasion resistant plate. Developed to meet the specific needs of high sliding abrasion and impact encountered in truck bed liners, bins, hoppers and chutes, the chemistry and processing were engineered to increase the hardness of Tri-Braze by 30-40 Brinell points, while maintaining the through hardening, toughness and weldability characteristics of traditional Tri-Braze. As with Tri-Braze, these properties are only achievable through proper alloy design, careful control of chemistry, removal of harmful elements such as hydrogen, sulfur and phosphorus, specially designed heat treatment, and diligent quality control. Like Tri-Braze, we test and report properties on every single plate.
